Terence Warbey of Salt Spring Silver has been a gold and silversmith for nearly five decades. Working in both sterling silver and gold, Terry individually hand makes and hallmarks each piece of fine sterling silver and gold jewelry.
He is well-known for his handmade gold and sterling silver earrings, bracelets, bangles, pendants, and brooches styled in a variety of forms inspired from from the natural surrounding of his West Coast home—sea life and flowers, including whales’ tails, Orcas, sand dollars, hummingbirds, roses, dogwoods and lilies, as well as his contemporary, clean, artistic designs such as stylized hearts, geometric patterns, and forged shapes.
Depending on the style, each piece is sculptured and carefully polished to highlight the finished texture, whether pebble or large hammered planishing, bright smooth metal, or hand engraving.
Silver pendants are permanently hung on 18″ Italian sterling silver chains; bracelets are safely attached by a sterling silver heart clasp. For more than 50 years, Terry Warbey’s work has been featured in fine galleries in and around the Pacific North West. Now, you can now order it on line for your loved ones and yourself.
Apprenticed in England and now living on Salt Spring Island on the west coast of Canada, Terry’s designs and craftsmanship reflect his European roots and Western lifestyle.
Every hand crafted piece of jewelery is individually stamped with its metal content and Terry’s registered trademark: your assurance of quality and excellence.
