The Saturday Market is a great day out and not to be missed for a complete Salt Spring Island experience. All products must be vendor produced and sold. The highest caliber of creativity and production standards on display at the Saturday Market show why Salt Spring Island is home to one of the greatest collection of artists in Canada.
Explore original pottery, fiber art, woodworking, fine art & photography, body care, clothing and accessories and more. Enjoy live music and entertainment. There is organic produce, farmstead cheeses, organic and delicious homemade snacks and food. Meet over 140 artisans and food producers who all contribute to Salt Spring’s international reputation as a hotbed of world-class artists and organic farmers.
Stop by the Salt Spring Silver kiosk at the Saturday Market to chat with Terry, ask about his craft, and see his latest creations as well as all the popular items that have made Salt Spring Silver a favorite market stop for more than 20 years.
Where: Oceanside at Centennial Park in the heart of Ganges on Salt Spring Island.

Getting There
By BC Ferries Salt Spring Island is served by BC Ferries routes via Fulford Harbour (coming from Victoria and Vancouver), Crofton (coming from Nanaimo and the northern Vancouver Island) and Long Harbour (coming from Vancouver and the Gulf Islands). How to choose the best route? If you plan on getting to Saltspring from Victoria or southern Vancouver Island you will want to take the Fulford ferry. From central or northern Vancovuer island you’ll want the Crofton ferry. Coming from Vancouver (Option 1) Take the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay ferry and then the Fulford ferry. Ask for a through fare rate to Fulford at Tsawwassen. (Option 2) Take the ferry from Tsawwassen to Long Harbour. This ferry may be direct or may stop in the other Southern Gulf Islands. |

From the US by Ferry If your are getting to Saltspring Yurt Vacation from Seattle/ Puget Sound, Washington State Ferries travel to Sidney BC from Anacortes and the San Juan Islands from April through September. Sidney BC is 6k from the BC Ferry terminal in Swartz Bay (to Fulford). |

Coming from Seattle/Olymipc Peninsula via Port Angeles WA the Blackball -Coho Ferry travels to to Victoria BC, where you can connect to the Ferry at Swartz Bay (to Fulford). |
